Well, January 1st falls on a Thursday so this will be our Hangover Ride
We are back at our Uptown start spot: Dat Dog on Freret (5030 Freret, http://bit.ly/JMWraz). As always, they will be treating us to the normal food and drink specials (10% off food and ask the bartender for drink specials). Make sure to arrive early if you want to get food! The ride will begin around 7:45-8:00PM, and we will have a tracker running for those who are late or want to catch up mid-way.
I’m happy to announce that the Uptown Crew has volunteered to lead the monthly Uptown Happy Thursday Rides for the foreseeable future. This is a realization of an original vision for the Thursday rides, and it’s been a long time coming. We are looking forward to having more people lead the rides and bring with them new routes, stop spots, and routines to spice things up. Thanks to the Uptown Crew for stepping up!
The end spot/afterparty will be at The Kingpin, at Prytania and Lyons. (Map: https://goo.gl/maps/JlNca). It’s only a short ride from there back to Dat Dog for anyone that is driving in.
