It’s the Thursday before Midsummer Mardi Gras, so break out your costumes early and come out for a ride!
We have a very special ride planned for this week. We will be meeting at Mickey Markey Playground (http://bit.ly/1LrwhHm). Food and drinks can be picked up from any of the local establishments within a block of the park. We will meet at 7PM, announcements at 7:45PM, and we will roll out no later than 8PM.
The first stop on this ride will be the House of Dance and Feathers. The Museum will be open and Ronald Lewis, Director and Curator will be on hand to speak to visitors during the stop. There will also be a porta potty on site. Donations are accepted and there are also books and refreshments for sale inside the museum. More information can be found at http://houseofdanceandfeathers.org/ and the House of Dance and Feathers Facebook Page. We won’t be there for too long, so be sure to make a point of stopping in and checking it out!
The second stop and afterparty location will be a surprise and will be announced at 7:45PM. If you are driving in, you can park near Poland and St. Claude to be close enough to the end spot for an easy ride back. It’s going to be a treat, so you will definitely want to stick around until the end!
